In Del Paso Heights a vehicle lost control and flipped into an apartment complex bursting into flames. At least two burn victims, one noted as critical.
According to reports, a call came in to 911 Thursday evening shortly before 10:30 p.m., for a vehicle fire at an apartment complex located at the intersection of Norwood Ave and Carroll Ave. When the first fire engine arrived they found a vehicle that had flipped through a fence and came to rest against the apartment complex bursting into flames.
Two occupants of the vehicle were transported to the hospital with life threatening injuries Sacramento Police Officials say.
On scene officers state that skid marks from the vehicle begin at least a half block before the crash scene.
UPDATE
At 12:15 a.m. Sunday, November 24th, the passenger of the vehicle, Jose Alverez, was pronounced deceased according to the Sacramento County Coroner’s office.
