Wallpaper, An Angle and Mister Metaphor help kick off Launch 2013 , a festival of inspiration and creativity, at Ace of Spades last night, Sept. 5. They were just the start to a weekend specifically designed to inspire the creative class.
In a time where research shows childrens’ creativity is being stifled in school, Launch is here – Sacramento’s own aid in artistic enrichment.
The Launch website says, “We want this generation to be proud of where they’re from, and to create with vigor in their own backyards.”
Launch does just that by bringing together artists of all types from all different backgrounds together in one place to showcase and collaborate. It provides inspiration to the masses and nurtures the development of creativity in our kids.
Here are some of my shots from last nights concert at ace of spades.
Tickets are still available at the box office for Saturday and Sundays show. Gates open at 11:30 daily. Here is a link to the list of artist showtimes for Saturday and Sunday’s show.
