Rebelution came to Sacramento’s Ace of Spades last Wednesday with The Hot Rain Band as well as J Boog, who are both a part of the Wintergreen Tour. Coming from the Hawaiian Islands, The Hot Rain Band opened up the show with melodic island instrumentals and a few of their own songs.
After The Hot Rain Band performed, they took the stage once again as back up band for J Boog while, he sang out to the ladies in the venue with his popular songs like "Sunshine Girl," and "Let’s Do it Again." J Boog had the crowd singing along with his version of covers as well as a bunch of original music.
Finally to end the night, and the reason why Ace of Spades had two sold out nights back to back. The main act of the Wintergreen Tour, Rebelution, took the stage. Singing songs that took the crowd down memory lane as well as a few of their newest songs. Rebelution had the crowd singing along with almost every single song they played that night. As soon as Rebelution finished their set they invited everyone next door to R15 to hang out at a free after party, where the mingled and took photos with fans.
