How?
Whether contributing regularly or singularly, SacPress has three primary outlets for photographers to share their work: being featured as our Photo of the Week, hashtagging us on Instagram, or putting together photo gallery articles that are published on the site and shared on social media. All three give you the opportunity to be published, be seen, share your passion, and/or spread the word about the work you do. Read below for more details.
Photo of the Week
We feature on a weekly basis a photo submitted by a local photographer in our Photo of the Week column. Each photo includes a short description and the photographer’s name. If you own a photography business, you’re free to include a linked named of your business. Submit your photo at sacramentopress.com/picoftheweek.
Want to be featured on our Instagram account? Share your photo with the community by using #sacramentopress. Selected photos are reposted with linked accreditation to your Instagram account.
Photo Gallery Articles
Share your photos in the form of an article published sitewide on SacPress. Create a gallery of scenes around the city, a concert, an event, a sports game, a travel destination, or one of a multitude of possibilities. Just accompany the gallery with some text describing the photos or work with our Editors to team up with a writer. If wishing to cover an event, a press pass can be provided.
