The California State Railroad Museum & Foundation are excited to present a dynamic and fun Museum Market Mixer on Thursday evening, March 26, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Surrounded by large-scale locomotives and historic rail equipment, the mixer will take place in the Museum’s Roundhouse. Attendees can enjoy an interactive art installation, upbeat music from DJ enchi of Demo Art and Books, local wine provided by Acheson Wine Company (plus non-alcoholic beverage options) and snacks available for purchase, all while supporting local vendors and artisans.

The Museum Market Mixer will offer a variety of hand-crafted goods, gift ideas, and collectibles such as vintage items, antiques, art, prints, and more. A sampling of the local vendors that will be on-site for the special activation include:

  • The Charming Wino
  • Demo Art and Books
  • Hannah’s Art Booth
  • Midtown Bliss
  • Single Pickles
  • Sneep Club
  • Takahashi Boutique
  • Trash Day Press

In addition, the evening event is highlighted by an interactive and visual art installation from Sacramento’s Zack where attendees use their own movement to alter the display – similar in function to playing a Theremin.

Open to adults 18+, a $10 donation is suggested for entry to the Museum Market Mixer and advance tickets are available here.  Alcoholic drink tickets (limit 2 per guests ages 21 and over) cost $10;  non-alcoholic drink tickets cost $3. Plus, California State Railroad Museum members receive one complimentary drink token with their donation.
