Food 4 Less will host the 29th Turkey Brigade benefiting the Stockton Emergency Food Bank on Friday, December 13, starting at 9 A.M. at 789 W. Hammer Lane in the Food 4 Less parking lot.

The Stockton Police Officers Association and the Stockton Fire Dept. personnel will load 600 turkeys totaling 7,200 pounds (3.2 tons) onto Fire trucks and Police vehicles and then travel down Pacific Avenue on their way to the Stockton Emergency Food Bank.

Food 4 Less Vice President and General Manager Chris Podesto says, “PAQ, Inc. is pleased to collaborate with the Stockton Fire Department Local 456 and the Stockton Police Officers Association on the 29th Turkey Brigade, which will benefit the Stockton Emergency Food Bank. Together, we have contributed more than 60,000 turkeys since 1995. Too many of our neighbors in Stockton are unable to afford to give their families a Thanksgiving dinner. Many families will truly benefit from these turkeys throughout the holidays”.

The Stockton Emergency Food Bank’s Turkey Giveaway is scheduled for Friday, December 20th, 2024 and will take place at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds. Food Bank officials anticipate between 1,200-1,500 families will benefit from this year’s giveaway. Each family receives a complete turkey and meal box.
