With Bowling, Bourbon and Brews, DOCO Offers Ways to Celebrate Father’s Day Weekend

DOCO (Downtown Commons) announces a variety of ways to celebrate Father’s Day weekend, June 15-16. Guests are encouraged to plan a special day with dad bowling, brunching and experiencing all the fun that DOCO has to offer.

A sampling of Father’s Day experiences and specials available at DOCO include:

  • Echo & Rig: A delicious new brunch menu has been introduced just in time for Father’s Day, and is offered Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Fizz Champagne & Bubbles Bar: Every day is a celebration at Fizz and on Father’s Day, dads who pop in will be treated to a complimentary glass of champagne.  
  • Polanco Cantina: For mouth-watering Mexican-inspired menu items such as Carne Asada Hash and Churro French Toast, brunch is available on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Limited reservations are available online via OpenTable. 
  • Punch Bowl Social: On Father’s Day, Punch Bowl Social will honor dads with interactive games, great music, a Bourbon and Brunch special with $5 Evan Williams Old Fashioned cocktails, and delicious food options such as the Knockoff Burger, a Colorado Bison Patty Melt and a Beyond Burger.
  • Sauced BBQ & Spirits:  For dads hungry for authentic, slow smoked southern barbecue, Sauced offers an amazing menu plus an extensive craft beer, craft cocktail and spirits list.  
  • Tipsy Putt*: Known as a destination for family friendly fun and games, Tipsy Putt is offering free golf for dads on Father’s Day. Guests are encouraged to bring dad for free golf and stay for tacos and cool beverages. 
  • Tom’s Watch Bar:  Dads are invited to enjoy DOCO’s dynamic sports and entertainment viewing bar and restaurant – complete with more than 80 high-definition TVs and an impressive video wall – while choosing from an elevated menu including Deep-Dish Nachos, Prime Rib Dip, and a 40oz stein.
  • Yardhouse: Relax with dad with 100 draft beers on tap and an expansive menu featuring favorites such as poke or chicken nachos, spicy tuna stack or jumbo Bavarian pretzel.

The plaza offers a DOCO Rewards loyalty program with prizes, discounts, incentives and benefits for shopping, dining, playing, staying, and completing activities via the online app. Plus, DOCO Rewards members will earn double points during Father’s Day weekend. Free to download, the DOCO Rewards app is available via the Apple Store and Google Play. New members receive 200 points for signing up. DOCO is an outdoor shopping, dining, and entertainment destination in the heart of downtown Sacramento. Convenient parking is available in DOCO’s central garage with an entrance on J Street between 4th & 5th Streets. Parking validation is available at most DOCO tenants with a purchase. The elevators and escalators take guests up to the plaza’s main level and second level terrace near many of the restaurants, eateries, and retail tenants.
