Stage Nine Entertainment Presents a Happy Haunting Weekend October 16-17

Located in the heart of the historic Old Sacramento Waterfront, Stage Nine Entertainment is thrilled to present a fun, free and family-friendly Happy Haunting Weekend on October 16 & 17, 2021. As a centerpiece to the spirited activations, the talented and award-winning artist Tom Matousek of Disney Fine Art, will be a special guest at Stage Nine Entertainment all weekend long.

As a highlight, Matousek, Disney Fine Art and Stage Nine will release the first in a series of Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion paintings – this one titled “Hitchhiking Ghosts” – sure to delight collectors and enthusiasts alike. In fact, Stage Nine will be the first retailer and gallery in the country to unveil and debut the limited-edition artwork. In addition, two “artist insider chats” with Matousek will be available on Saturday & Sunday at 11 a.m. to provide aspiring artists insight into paths to become affiliated with Disney Fine Art as well sharing artistry tips and tricks. Space is limited and pre-registration is required for the one-hour interactive sessions at www.stagenine.com. After the “artist insider chats,” Matousek will be available for drop-in meet-and-greet opportunities and signings from noon to 5 p.m. each day.

Guests of all ages are encouraged to come dressed in Halloween costumes, the more spirited the better. Other activations for the special weekend include a Happy Haunting scavenger hunt (with prizes) taking place throughout all five Stage Nine retail stores, an eye-catching collection of Halloween and haunt-related memorabilia on display, a special line of high-quality Stitch clothing and party dresses for adults, and a line of sought-after Disney-inspired Loungefly Halloween bags that are sure to fly off the shelves in no time. Plus, everyone who visits any of the five Stage Nine stores over the Happy Haunting weekend will receive a scratch-off with special discounts and can spin a prize wheel to receive valuable gift cards, experiences, and unique gifts (while supplies last).
