10 Years of HARD Summer Coming to New Location

hard summer

Southern California’s HARD Summer will celebrate their 10-year anniversary with a new location in San Bernadino. Between August 5 & 6, the music festival will offer a more green and lush venue, in comparison to its concrete past, as it makes its way to the Glen Helen Amphitheater and Regional Park.

HARD Fest is still bringing the heat for HARD 10 with headliners DJ Snake, Justice (DJ Set), Migos, Snoop Dogg performing ‘Doggystyle’ and Dog Blood’s only performance of 2017. Mobb Deep will be performing MOBB DEEP FOREVER: A Celebration of Prodigy’s life, paying tribute to rapper and fellow member of their group. The set will feature Havoc and tribute DJ set by A-Trak.

Overall, HARD Summer caters to music fans that listen to electronic and hip-hop music giving a range of the best emerging talent and headlining acts. Supporting acts feature artists like Rae Sremmurd, Ty Dolla $ign, Mike Will Made It, Tinashe, Charli XCX and Anna Lunoe. This year’s HARD Summer line up also features the most female vocalists and musicians the festival has ever hosted.

HARD has evolved into a fusion of electronic, hip-hop and live acts who come to share stages in front of thousands of people. HARD is where the rave scene meets urban culture. You’ll see people decked out in light up gear and kandi bracelets, often associated with rave culture, and others in regular streetwear. The fest has developed a culture that is very Los Angeles and very trendy while creating an environment that truly cares about the performers and music community.

In the HARD Summer 2017 trailer, the HARD founder, Gary Richards, also known as his producer name Destructo, emphasizes how this year’s HARD Summer will have more diversity so that everyone feels welcome. The trailer features cameos by Gary Richards, DJ Snake, What So Not, Claude VonStroke, Party Favor and other artists playing the festival.

Stay tuned for more announcements with stage line-ups and app updates for those who plan on attending. You can peep the full line-up below and tickets can be purchased at hardsummer.com.
