District by Ten22 Now Open in Old Sacramento

The Harvego Restaurant Group has officially opened a third dining concept – District by Ten22.

Located at 1022 2nd Street in Old Sacramento (adjacent to the popular Ten22 restaurant), District is seizing the opportunity to showcase their fresh pastries made daily. Chef Jay Veregge, director of culinary operations for the Harvego Restaurant Group, is responsible for overseeing the food and beverage menu and offerings for District along with The Firehouse and Ten22.

Open daily at 7:30 a.m., guests may enjoy gourmet coffee provided by Old Soul Co., impressive bottled beer and wine selections, plus “grab & go” breakfast items, sandwiches, cheese & salumi plates and desserts presented with a fresh and sophisticated twist.

Overall, adding a service to the historic Old Sacramento area was a main reason for opening District said Bill Keliher, Ten22’s general manager.

“We’ve got the local group coming in that’s starting their day and it’s made for a nice opportunity for them, they’re enjoying it,” said Keliher. “We’re not trying to be the chain restaurant of coffees and the frappuccinos, but we serve a good product.”

Offering an open and welcoming space, District maintains a casually inviting ambiance catered to the early morning, busy midday and lingering post-dinner and event crowds.

“We are very excited to open District that allows guests an opportunity to enjoy deliciously convenient ‘grab & go’ items or a unique and leisurely boardwalk dining experience,” said Terry Harvego, co-owner of Harvego Restaurant Group. “District is easily accessible and centrally located to become a favorite among the vibrant downtown community, future arena visitors and guests to Old Sacramento.”
