Preview: BottleRock Napa Valley 2016

BottleRock Napa Valley is back to shake up California’s wine country for the fourth year in a row this Memorial Day Weekend.

More than 70 performers and a multitude of local eats and drinks will highlight the three-day music, wine, food, and craft brew festival. Respectively headlining each day of the festival are Stevie Wonder, Florence + The Machine and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Also scheduled to perform are the ever-popular Buddy Guy, Death Cab for Cutie, Lenny Kravitz, The Lumineers, Ziggy Marley and Rodrigo y Gabriela, while up and coming acts, such as Pimps of Joytime, Royal Jelly Jive and La Misa Negra will represent Northern California’s rich diversity of musical influence.

Considered artists in their own field, a collection of just over 70 of Napa’s fine local food will also make up a big part of this festival. From Mediterranean, Italian, Japanese and Indian, to Spanish, New Zealand and many more in-between, any appetite is bound to find its satisfaction.

For those heading to the festival with a thirst for wine and brews, there will be a Northern California based craft beer garden with 26 breweries and a Napa Valley based wine garden showcasing the best wine from 28 local wineries.

While it seems the food and drink vendors are enough to rival the musical lineup for the weekend, there is an actual culinary stage where celebrity chefs, musicians and entertainers will be bringing a whole new light to the world of culinary arts. Gordon Ramsey, Adam Richman, Thomas Ian Nicholas and Cheech & Chong are a few of the guests scheduled for the weekend.

As of Thursday, the festival is officially sold out, however, there are still tickets available through a ticket exchange platform where those without tickets are given the opportunity to find passes without overpaying. Apart from the actual festival, artists will be hosting a handful of after shows throughout the weekend.

Bottlerock will take place May 27-May 29 at Napa Valley Expo, 575 3rd Street in Napa. For more information and to see the full lineup of food, artists and events visit bottlerocknapavalley.com or follow Bottlerock on social media with #BottleRock.
