Midtown is really rolling now!
In honor of National Bike Month happening in May, the Midtown Business Association (MBA) is pleased to share a number of special bike-friendly announcements and activities happening throughout the area.
“Already known as both walkable and bike-friendly, Midtown is embracing National Bike Month with plenty of special activities this May,” said Emily Baime Michaels, Executive Director of the Midtown Business Association. “We support and applaud the involved and motivated Midtown businesses that are participating in bike riding challenges for employees and/or are offering incentives for residents and guests who choose to ride their bikes to their favorite Midtown destinations.”
New Bike Racks All Locked Up in Midtown
Midtown Sacramento already has plenty of convenient bike racks located throughout the area with more coming soon. In addition to the whimsical and artistic bike racks located in front of various businesses — such as Zocalo (1801 Capitol Avenue) or Lou’s Sushi (2801 P Street) — a new bike corral was recently installed in front of Pete’s Restaurant & Brewhouse (2001 J Street) with new bike racks planned in front of Jenneane’s Skin Care (1111 22nd Street). The city typically installs new bike racks and/or corrals in front of four to five businesses per month with the majority located in Midtown and/or on the downtown grid.

Offering vintage, used and repurposed bicycles at value prices, Velo Trap additionally offers new bikes for purchase, repair services, parts and accessories.
Fresh Ideas Going Strong at Midtown Farmers Market
