Auto Museum’s ‘Beer Prom’ Brings the 80s to Beer Week

Car enthusiasts, 80s fans and brew aficionados unite!

Imagine feasting your eyes on classic, vintage and collectible cars while sipping delicious specialty brews and listening to popular 80s tunes…it’s “Beer Prom” at the California Automobile Museum on Friday, March 4 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

This special fundraising event offers a unique way to taste beer in “style” as guests are encouraged (but not required) to dress up in 80s radical or prom-funk attire. In addition to sampling delicious brews while surrounded by eye-catching cars, “Beer Prom” guests can also have fun with a photo booth and cut-outs from rad 80s celebrities — such as David Hasselhoff — plus enjoy food (for purchase) from popular food trucks Drewski’s Hot Rod Kitchen, Chandos Tacos and Cowtown Creamery.

Approximately 20 craft brewers are expected to be on-site, a number of which include the following:

Beer Prom tickets cost $10 for designated drivers (DDs must still be 21 or older), $40 general admission ($50 at the door) and $50 VIP for access to specialty brew area ($60 at the door. For more information, call 916-442-6802 or visit calautomuseum.org.
