Celebrate All Things Marvelously Midtown at Annual Gala

Let the season of end-of-year celebrations begin!

The Midtown Business Association (MBA) is proud to present their annual Midtown Gala on Thursday evening, October 15, 2015 from 5:30-9pm in the courtyard of the E. Claire Raley Studios for the Performing Arts located at 2420 N Street in Sacramento. The much-anticipated event, which is open to all interested community members, will include live musical entertainment, incredible food “pop-ups” hosted by some of Midtown’s best restaurants, and opportunities to mix and mingle with Sacramento’s leading chefs, business owners and visionaries.

At the Gala each year, the Midtown Business Association celebrates Midtown’s achievements and showcases individuals who helped to develop and execute the organization’s goals and objectives over the past year.  In addition to all the exciting projects and development underway and/or in the planning stages in Midtown, a few highlights for this past year include the revitalized Midtown Farmers Market 2.0, the successful and expanded Clean & Safe Program and the award-winning Pop-Up Dog Park (that has spurred plans for a permanent dog park in Midtown), to name a few.

“We certainly have a lot to celebrate in Midtown this year,” said Emily Baime Michaels, executive director for the Midtown Business Association.  “We are incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by such an amazing community of dynamic and dedicated individuals and business owners.  And, it’s very fitting that the annual Gala will be held at the unique, beautiful and inspiring E. Claire Raley Studios for the Performing Arts that is a perfect example of the positive energy and real sense of collaboration happening now in Midtown.”

Proudly sponsored by Consolidated Communications and Sacramento Municipal Utilities District (SMUD), all funds raised helps to support ongoing efforts to ensure Midtown remains a thriving center for culture, creativity and vibrancy.

Appropriate attire for the Gala is business/evening casual. To purchase tickets and/or find out more information about the Midtown Business Association, please visit exploremidtown.org.
