The 3rd annual DigIn! Dinner announced its chef lineup for their farm-to-fork dinner series served outdoor-style once a month from May to August.
Created by local chefs and hosted by a special guest, each three-course meal is made with ingredients sourced from Yolo County farms. Local craft beer and wine also accompanies each dinner, which is served in the cool warmth of Sacramento summers under the big tent of the West Sacramento Farmer’s Market.
The dinner series was created to stir up a love for local food while using some of Sacramento’s top chefs to put together stellar, family-style meals that bring out the best of the ingredients.
Only 100 people in the city will get to take advantage of each of the specialty dinners since tickets are limited to only 100 guests per evening. Tickets will go fast so get them while can!
The DigIn! Dinner series will kick off on May 28 with food prepared by Chis Jarosz, co-owner and chef of Broderick Roadhouse, Capital Dime, and Trick Pony. Congresswoman Doris Matsui will serve as special guest host with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the West Sacramento Relay for Life.
