Think Small, Support Local, and Discover Our City’s Boutiques at the 1st Annual Midtown Boutique Holiday Hunt

What are the marks of being a good city? Chances are you said something like good food, lots to do, and unique stores. Good food we know we’ve got and we’re only getting better. The list of festivals, events, museums, and interests in redeveloping the downtown core is only growing. But how do we fare on unique stores? Here’s your chance to find out.

Now in its second week, the first annual Midtown Boutique Holiday Hunt offers shoppers with the holidays on their minds a chance to explore a dozen Midtown fashion boutiques and to take part in the host of special events, sales, and even a $600 grand prize drawing.

Taking place from Nov. 1-Nov. 29, this is great opportunity to support local businesses and discover what you maybe didn’t know we have in our own backyard. Many of the stores are within blocks of each other and all are excited to individually contribute a $50 gift certificate that goes toward the $600 drawing on Saturday, Nov. 29, which is more and more becoming known as Black Friday’s less-hectic alternative Small Business Saturday.

Indeed it’s fair to say that the conceptualization of this event probably had much to do with a growing interest in thinking small, supporting local, and, in the process, opening our eyes to our city’s unique boutique offerings.

Guests who spend $15 or more at the twelve boutiques will automatically be entered for the drawing.
