Downtown Plaza Demolition Has Begun

Demolition of Downtown Plaza, soon to be the site of a new arena for the Sacramento Kings, began Wednesday morning. Buildings were excavated along L Street, between 4th to 6th streets. The area included the Downtown Plaza sign, as well as the landmark PreFlite Lounge. The arena is scheduled to open in October 2016.DSC_0010DSC_0007DSC_0017DSC_0012
