United Way’s toilet paper drives are a tremendous help to local nonprofits because by providing organization necessities, nonprofits are able to allocate their funds toward offering important programs and services.

Volunteers were collecting the dropped off rolls from 7am-7pm. Rolls were delivered by both individuals and businesses. UPS delivered a truckload of 27,000 rolls collected by UPS and Intel.

The 161k donation of rolls is up dramatically from their first toilet paper drive in 2009, when they collected 35k rolls. Over the years, donations have increased, topping out at 229,485 last year. The 161k from this year’s drive, while less than last year, is still an amazing accomplishment and will aid nonprofits in a big way!
