Extended New Year’s Eve light rail service

RT encourages New Year’s Eve celebrants to take transit. RT will offer extended light rail service from downtown Sacramento on the Gold Line and Blue Line past regular operating hours on Tuesday, December 31: (Click on Bold headings for current schedule information)

Service to Sunrise/Historic Folsom (Gold Line):
Light rail trains will depart the 7th & K (St. Rose of Lima Park) Station at 12:30 a.m. and 12:45 a.m.

Light rail service to Folsom will operate on a regular schedule with the last train arriving the Historic Folsom Station at 7:22 p.m. The two supplemental trips at 12:30 a.m. and 12:45 a.m. from downtown Sacramento will operate to Folsom on New Year’s Eve.

Service to Meadowview (Blue Line):
Light rail trains will depart the 7th & K (St. Rose of Lima Park) Station at 12:30 a.m. and 12:45 a.m.

Service to Watt/I-80 (Blue Line):
Light rail trains will depart the 9th & K (St. Rose of Lima Park) Station at 12:30 a.m. and 12:45 a.m.

All other buses and trains will operate on a regular schedule. Passengers can park at any of RT’s 18 park-and-ride lots.
