Abandon house fire claims one life, injures three others

Sacramento firefighters were dispatched to a report of a structure fire at an abandon home  just after noon Thursday in the 4500 block of Stockton Blvd.

When fire crews arrived they received reports of victims in the boarded up, two story, Victorian structure. With smoke and fire erupting from the structure, rescues were made immediately.

After the rescues were made, firefighters were ordered out of the blazing  structure by command staff as they shifted their attack to a safer defensive mode.
