Suspect Sketch – Please Help Identify

The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying a suspicious suspect.

A composite sketch of what the suspect is believed to look like has been generated (see below).  Two incidents are thought to have been committed by this same suspect and the circumstances are as follows:

  • 13-272913; on October 7, 2013 at approximately 9:32 a.m., in the area of the 3300 block of West Curtis Drive (Curtis Park); the suspect reportedly exposed himself to the victim as she was jogging.
  •  13-273474; on October 8, 2013 at approximately 8:28 p.m., in the area of 3300 block of West Curtis Drive (Curtis Park), a different victim was in the area jogging when the suspect reportedly inappropriately touched the victim. There were no injuries reported.

The suspect was described by both victims to be a black male juvenile in his late teens.   The suspect was further described as being between 5 feet 2 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall, heavy set, with short black hair.  He was seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and black basketball shorts with red and white stripes during the first incident.  During the second incident, the suspect was described to be wearing a baggy white shirt with blue jean shorts or pants.

The Sacramento Police Department urges anyone with information pertaining to this crime to contact the dispatch center at (916) 264-5471 or Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP (4357) or text in a tip to 274637 (CRIMES). Enter SACTIP followed by the tip information. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
