Passions to collide at annual fall book sale benefitting the Sacramento SPCA

Bibliophiles and animal lovers alike are expected at the Sacramento SPCA’s annual fall book sale starting Thursday, November 14 and running through Sunday, November 17 at Country Club Plaza on Watt Avenue. Proceeds from the event benefit the programs and services of the Sacramento SPCA.

The book sale will feature hundreds of gently used books in a variety of popular categories, including:

1. Adventure
2. Biographies
3. Children
4. Cookbooks
5. Fiction
6. Holiday
7. Large print
8. Mystery
9. Nearly new
10. Romance
11. Table top
12. Teens

This year’s event also includes a holiday boutique sale that will run through Saturday, November 30. The boutique sale will include specially selected items from the Sacramento SPCA Thrift Store, including holiday decorations and crafts, specialty gifts and clothing.

Fall book sale
November 14–16, 2013

Weekdays and Saturday
10 a.m.–6 p.m.

Sunday
11 a.m.–5 p.m.

Holiday boutique sale
November 14–30, 2013

Weekdays and Saturdays
10 a.m.-6 p.m.

Sundays
11 a.m.–5 p.m.

Proceeds from the four-day book sale historically raise $30,000 for the Sacramento SPCA.
