October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. To help commemorate the event and bring awareness to its community, Kathy Jesmont, owner of It’s Just Your Style & Friends boutique, hosted their Fall Power of Pink.

The event supports breast cancer awareness, breast education and health services in the local community.
The Fall Power of Pink fashion show and vendor expo was held at Folsom’s Community Center on Oct. 3. It also featured a silent auction, wine sampling provided by Folsom’s Grocery Outlet, snacks and dessert for guests to enjoy.

The Albie Aware Breast Cancer Foundation of Sacramento was the beneficiary of the silent-auction event.

Beyond raising money for the Albie Aware Breast Cancer Foundation, the event served to help disseminate information available not just for breast cancer awareness but also about testing and prevention.
It’s Just Your Style & Friends is located at 815 Sutter Street in Folsom’s Historic District. In addition to women’s fashion, the shop features baby items, home decor, jewelry and more.
