The California Capital Airshow’s back

The California Capital Air Show in its 8 year is set to rumble into Rancho Cordova’s decommissioned Mather Air Force Base. October 5-6 is set to include many world class performances from elites in aviation.

The 2013 California Capitol Airshow will be paying homage to the 65th anniversary of the Berlin AIrlift in which U.S. Armed forces participated in humanitarian missions to Germany during WWII, to feed those who had been cut off from foreign aid by the soviet Union.
Spectators will be treated to demonstrations by The Royal Canadian Air Forces Snowbirds which will bring their frightening, high flying, aerobatic performance to life over the tarmac.

13 of the craziest Adrenaline Junkies the Red Bull Air Force team, will be pushing the limits of human flight this weekend. The team will be taking to the air soaring above the crowd each with their own twist to defying gravity. Hey, I’m serious, these guys are no joke,  absolutely nuts, all puns intended. Check out their youtube page.

According to the CCA, there’s something new for teens and parents this year at the California Capitol Airshow. It’s The Aerojet’s Rocketdyne Space and Aviation Launch Pad, 15,000 square feet of hands-on Scientific facts and fun, designed to show them what’s so cool about Science.

There’s more, check the CCA website for a complete list of showtimes and performance details.
Tickets are $10.00 for Kids Ages 6-12, $20 for ages 13 and up, kids 5 and under are free. Parking will be $10.00. Discounted tickets and value packs are still available. Get your discount tickets here. http://www.californiacapitalairshow.com/purchase-tickets/
Thinking about going to the Capitol Airshow? Remember your ears, don’t forget your earplugs or noise cancelling ear muffs. This will quite possibly be one of the loudest events that you will ever treat your senses to.

For those that have never been to an Airshow, the raw power from the turbines is addictive. Get ready to be sucked in, strap yourself up for the ride, its going to be a wild one.

“Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return.”
