This will be the second SacAnime at the convention center since the event moved from the Woodlake Hotel. SacAnime will also share space with the 50th Annual Sacramento Greek Festival. A partnership between the two events allows SacAnime guests to use their registration badges for free entry to the Greek Festival.

Ten different areas have been set apart for cosplayers and other guest to indulge in. Main and featured events will have various Q-and-A sessions with voice actors and featured guests. Opening and closing ceremonies including the SacAnime concert series, and the Late Nite Electronik Dance will be held in the larger main stage.

Autograph sessions, workshops, panel rooms and dance lesson workshops will also be held. For those brave enough to show off their singing skills, a karaoke room featuring competitions will once again be available. The return of the ever-popular Anime Music Video Contest will also bring together larger crowds.
