Supergroup Fleetwood Mac closed out the U.S. portion of its Live 2013 tour at Sacramento’s Sleep Train Arena Saturday (July 6) evening, delivering everything a fan could want (sans Christine McVie).
Founding members John McVie and Mick Fleetwood, as well as Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks – who joined the group in 1975 – were present to fuel the emotion-filled nostalgia fest that had fans on their feet with camera phones held high, just as they (and possibly their children) had done with butane-filled lighters back in the day.
The tour, which kicked off in April, resumes in September with a spate of dates in the United Kingdom and Europe before continuing south-of-the-equator for concerts in Australia and New Zealand.
