Red, White, & Brews: Cheers to Independence Day

The 3rd of July may not be a nationally recognized holiday yet, but Sacramentans will celebrate like it is at the Red, White, & Brews party on the eve of Independence Day.

On 4th of July Eve, the skies over the river will light up with fireworks. If you’ve already got plans to catch the River Cats game that evening, fear not – the show will begin after the game is over.

For the older crowd, the fun won’t end with the fireworks. Fifteen bars in Old Sacramento – including River City Saloon, O’Mally’s Irish Pub and Sports Corner – will serve a variety of American beers throughout the night, each for $3. Partygoers will also get to experience live music, DJs, karaoke, and dancing.

The party kicks off at 7:00 p.m. in Old Sacramento and goes through 1:00 a.m. the following morning.
