Shine on Supermoon

Supermoon has arrived and risen over Sacramento tonight. If you would like to read more about it, please go to space.com.

There was several of us on the west bank of the Sacramento River, across from Old Sac. I happened to spot just a sliver of it on the right side of US Bank tower near 8:26pm and it rose from there.

Here’s a few more shots. It was really pretty when it reflected in the river:

If we don’t get the expected clouds and rain tomorrow, you should be able to see it looking even bigger. Space.com will offer a live webcast on Sunday.
