Sacramento Zoo’s Earth Fest: celebrating planet earth

The Sacramento Zoo sponsored a full day of discover planet earth activities on Saturday, April 6, 2013. From learning how to protect the environment to appreciating the diversity of animals on the planet, all aspects of celebrating planet earth were offered at the zoo. Numerous presenters and exhibitors showed off commercial, government, and research products and projects that enhanced the way we understand and interact with the earth. I was able to photograph many of these displays, along with the people and children that were willing and enthusiastic participants.
