This Sunday, June 17, 2012 is Father’s Day. Why not avoid the traditional gifts and treat Dad to a meal or a fun-filled day out? Sacramento365.com’s Holiday event section has many options as well, but let us outline some for you below!

Eat & Drink Well

Take him out to the Ballgame

Grab the whole Fam and go to a Museum

Diesels & Dads on Father’s Day: California State Railroad Museum;
Sun 10am-2pm *Trains rides depart hourly 11am-5pm

For Father’s Day, treat dad to some rail-related "eye candy" when seven rarely seen diesel locomotives from the Museum’s impressive collection will be on special display inside and outside the Museum for one day only. In addition, dad will enjoy taking a memorable and relaxing Weekend Excursion Train Ride that is reminiscent of train travel from an earlier era.

Father’s Day at the California Automobile Museum:
California Automobile Museum; Sun 10am-6pm

Dads are free this Father’s Day! Bring the whole family to experience Automotive evolution at the California Automobile Museum. They can enjoy two new exhibits, Citroen: L’icone Francaise and No Job Too Big, which can’t be seen anywhere else in the world.

Sunday’s busy? Why not Saturday?
