A Fundraiser for The Brazilian Center

The Brazilian Center for Cultural Exchange of Sacramento, a non-profit Sacramento based organization, is hosting a Carnaval event. This fundraiser to help raise money for the Brazilian Center's Summer  Program. This summer program will include: a modeling class, drum and dance classes, and tutoring. The modeling class will help to teach our  youth to build self esteem, and to find other professional avenues of potential interest in the fashion and entertainment industry. In order to help the youth in our community become more self sufficient, and contributing citizens. The tutoring  program will teach young children to read phonetically. We believe that if we give children more direction and attention at an early age, they will be able to learn faster, and have reading become regular part of that child's life forever. The drum and dance class will help the youth in understanding difference in cultures and have the intuitiveness to bring about a positive change through art, dance, and drumming. We believe that by collectively working together, implementing laughter, fun, and enjoyment for a better future.

The aforementioned fundraiser, hosted by The Brazilian Center will be a fun event held in Downtown Sacramento on, 1616 I Street. There will be live music, delicious food and drinks, and live Samba performances. February 26th will be a night to remember. We are asking for $15 donation in advance or $20 donation at the door, for more information please call (916) 387-7344, check out our website braziliancentersac.org, or visit The Brazilian Center for Cultural Exchange of Sacramento at 3313 Julliard Dr. Ste. C Sacramento 95826. Come and enjoy Carnaval, and all proceeds will go back into helping us help the community. We hope to see you there.
