Second-annual “speed dating” program set Feb. 6 at downtown Sacramento Central Library

The Sacramento Public Library will present its second-annual “speed dating” program that will combine literary discussions and socializing for adults. This free program, for ages 18 and older, will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, February 6, in the Tsakopoulos Library Galleria, at the Central Library, 828 I Street, Sacramento.

Singles are invited to bring their most loved or hated book to spark conversation with potential love interests and possibly meet their valentine.

“The library had two successful speed-dating programs last February, and we wanted to host them again at one event. Speed dating offers a great way to socialize with other like-minded singles without the pressure of a date. Plus, it is a fun and safe way to meet someone fabulous who shares your literary interests,” said Rivkah K. Sass, Sacramento Public Library director.

Registration is required as seating is limited, and can be done online at http://tinyurl.com/36oodlo. For more information, please call the Sacramento Public Library at (916) 264-2920.
