Sister Crayon plays all ages show

The crowd patiently waits as the members of Sister Crayon tease the audience with a sound check. Terra Lopez, lead singer of Sister Crayon, soon silences the crowd with her haunting yet angelic voice.

Sister Crayon played an all-ages show Nov. 23 at Luigi's Fungarden alongside with Truckasaurus and Apetite.

Daniel Mendoza, a fan of Sister Crayon and the local music scene, said he always enjoys watching Sister Crayon live.

"Terra's voice is amazing," Mendoza said. "I always support their music, and It's amazing to see how far they've gone."

And they have gotten really far.

Sister Crayon's music video for their single "(in) reverse" has aired on major music channel Vh1. Now, Lopez and other members Dani Fernandez, Nicholas Suhr, and Jeffrey LaTour are on a nationwide tour to promote their new album.

They are coming a long way, but they still showed love for the crowd. Lopez said the band has recently had a bad couple of shows, and said it felt amazing to come back to this crowd.

Although they've been on a couple tour dates already, it seems like Sister Crayon holds a special place in its heart for the natives of Sacramento.
