I guess the museum wasn't aware of those cruises, but they are very excited to bring back the cruising tradition to Sacramento. There is a lot of preparation going into it, definitely worth checking out.
I had no idea about this, very encouraging too see events like this having such an impact. The homeless population's growing and needs the communities help now more than ever, great to see some action being taken.
Great stories. The artwork becomes so much more meaningful when you know a little bit of the artist's background.
glad to see that religious institutions are picking up a little of the slack left by the state government in dealing with this expanding homeless crisis in Sacramento. Its a start.
It really speaks volumes about the financial turmoil California is in when we can celebrate Sacramento firefighters having their pay raises discontinued and hours cut to allow one year of job security. If MADD is no longer exclusively for mother's against drunk driving but also fathers and other family members, are they considering changing their name to be more inclusive? It might help their cause in gaining membership and publicity to further their efforts to educate communities on the severity of drunk driving.
What kind of music are the Cowboy Killers and Whiskey Gentlemen? Are they from the Sacramento area?
do we have any idea how many volunteers would be needed to compensate for the downsizing or park maintenance? or do you know when more details will be released on the number of workers laid off, or what percentage of the park recreation fund was 8.3 million?
How many weeks does the event continue? and has it expanded its variety from year's past?
Are other groups or organizations participating in the rallies, or is it only the SEIU?
Conversation about: 'Bare' in concert brings act Downtown
my mistake, the $40 was for a season ticket, $15 and $20 at the door is for only Bare in concert. I was told the show is close to selling out, so it'd be advisable to order tickets online because there might not be many at the door.
