It's a shame that Kevin Johnson is sacrificing the rights of citizens for his own personal comfort level. Agreed, homophobia, like racism, sexism, ageism etc... does not have a place in any city.

I never said it needs to a be a "hipster bar". I'm more against those bloody flat screens. It is impossible in Sacramento to go to a casual restaurant/bar and NOT be forced to watch a game. Name a few spots in sac without flats screens. Where the ambiance is created by you, your company and the food/drink (and maybe with some thoughtful design). You cant. That is what's missing.

Noooooo! not another sports bar/bro bar with "a lot of flat screen tvs". This will not at all bring the "SF" feel (which I don' know what that means?) More of a suburban strip mall feel..... Chicken wings and flat screen tvs....... when are restaurant owners going to bring something new and interesting????
