Thank you very much, sir and I'm bummed you missed it too. It really was a great show. We need to get together on coverage sometime!
I agree! I was at the Fire Escape that night seeing Jackie Greene for the first time. Not my usual taste in music but he put on a really amazing, intimate show. It made my top 10 from last year.
The show did not sell out as mentioned in the article. Approximately 850 people were in attendance, according to University UNIQUE programs advisor Zenia LaPorte.

Wow, I never knew that Evangeline's was located in one of the oldest buildings in Sacramento. This article has me excited for Halloween and it's only January:)
I have never been to this museum but this event might bring me in. It would be really interesting to learn the history of some of the fastest things on two wheels.
It's definitely nice to see people offering time to make their community a little nicer. If people want to see change in their neighborhoods, commitments like this are the perfect way to make it happen.
I've never had a chance to check this out. Sounds like a fun and reasonably priced night out.
Conversation about: Share your Kings memories
One of my first unsupervised activities was a kings game in 6th grade. My best friend and I sat in the very top row and watched the Kings whoop the Utah Jazz. (Back when there was a legitimate rivalry) It was existential and I connect Kings games with growing up and some of the best times of my life. Right now there is one piece of artwork hanging in my room... An autographed Mitch Richmond trading cards collage. I'll miss the Kings greatly but I've missed them since they lost the Lakers Playoff games and started on this awful loosing track.
