I believe it should be redefined to make sure only the worst of the worst are imprisoned, not putting someone away for stealing a loaf of bread. I have one offender in the California prison system. That monster killed my grandson. He would have only gotten 25 to life out in 12-1/2 had he not three striked to 75 to life out in 38 years. I have no problem with three strikes being used as it had been intended. But it has been abused and as such should be amended to protect those who need not be incarcerated for minor offenses. t2sister 2009-04-10T20:39:52Z
