I'm tired of my voice NOT being heard!!! I am a property owner/investor and I enjoy the culture downtown. Sounds like you need to address the person OVER-SERVING the "drunk jerks". I, as a young single mother, widow, business owner and home owner loved every minute of Midfest. I specially loved having a glass of wine and relaxing to some amazing music (NOT ROCK) in the beer garden while my daughter played in the kid's corner. Thanks Sara Jane and T&M..

Younger adults have children too, and as a younger parent I enjoyed the event with plenty of events for all ages. The event was amazing and we should be happy to have family events that include the next generation of parents that enjoy music, art, sport, and vendor filled attractions perfect for both responsible, and yes amazingly, younger crowd. There were no fights, no issues with trash in the park, and sound within the limits of city officials and the MBA and the police department. Respectfully within the conservatively set sound ordinance demanded by the neighborhood, the event has drawn more positive support than negative. So please be reasonable and judge these type of events by the enjoyment had by the attendees. And remember this event was FREE, and to mention all the proceeds benefit the T&M Organization for the ART's supporting the artistic and musical growth of our youth to help develop well rounded, understanding, and expressive adults. Midfest was a GREAT SUCCESS THANK YOU T&M ORGANIZATION!!

It's simply Court Law. You people have a class actions Lawsuit against Paragary. Why doesn't anybody get that? Oh I see, enough energy to have these meetings with Steve Cone but nobody want's to take this up in Court where something can and should be done. Perhaps this would break down the confusion between Paragary and other organizations or event organizers. There have been fines written. There has been police back up. Steve Cones hands are tied. He can't in-force the law's to someone who doesn't care. Not to mention, enough money to pay any fine!!! So, get to court if you really want to do something about this.. By the way, if savemidtown doesn't feel that Sacramento is "real city" perhaps she should move to one where they have the SAME issues.

I hate the apartments I live next to because people are too loud almost every night. I hate the blowers waking me up every morning. I hate the trash trucks that pound the earth at 4am. Furthermore that train system of ours has many health threatening properties. OHhh, and the homeless... Shall I go on?? I do love Midtown though and I deal with earplugs and eyewear to avoid the 911 team lights that blast through my window's almost nightly. To me it's ALL worth it, I love Midtown. Get over it people!!! Or move to Suberbia where no festivals happen!!!
