I’ve been living in Sacramento for seven years now, and have watched Second Saturday grow from being a well-kept secret, to a street-surging bona fide party, complete with jugglers, a one-man-band in a purple van, remote-controlled robots, and terrible Tom Petty cover bands. The Second Saturday shooting that happened in September had everyone worked up about shutting down, scaling back, canceling, or drastically changing Second Saturday. Hey Jenn, Good question. Jesse and I selected the bloggers ourselves, so we know that they're all Sacramentans (or ex-Sacramentans). an even better question; How many people ride their bike IN THE BIKE LANE, and not on the sidewalk to work. is it just me, or does it bug anyone else the amount of two-wheeled traffic we have on the sidewalk after the city spent so much on bike lanes?
