Online Chat Meetings for Singles
Professionals Guild is now offering free online chat meetings for Sacramento (and Bay Area) singles. Their new website, http://www.proguildsocial.com lets singles connect, upload photos and even vidoes, and exchange private messages. The site is entirely free and does not charge extra for "premium services." To help get online chat going, chat meetings are scheduled at specific dates and times. For example, a chat session was held on Tuesday 2/17/09. Even though the website is quite new, a number of singles showed up and kicked around ideas for future face-to-face meetings. Speed Dating can be fun, but it's highly structured and only works for small groups. As an alternative to speed dating, my club (Professionals Guild) hosts huge parties.
