I told them at the capitol that "Comfort Coop" is not a humane nor natural way to raise chickens! Chickens are among the most abused animals because they not only are they in cramped cages walking on wire instead being able to naturally scratch on the ground, these cages are stacked up on top of each other in warehouses, where chickens defecate on top of each other, and they don't get to go out in the sun, and there is no fresh air circulation. Many workers is such conditions have to wear breathing apparatuses, that's if the company bothers to issue one to the usually poor immigrants! That is on top of chickens being fed growth hormones and other toxics substances that do not belong for human consumption. Even if you do eat meat and enjoy burgers, you should still say "No Cheese Please"! Cheese is the worst offense to your arteries and other insides because it glues up your insides and causes plaque. I've actually seen this hideous plaque in a cadaver(that likely killed the individual), and the arteries make a cracking noise when cut. Cheese also contains large amounts casein, which is an "addictive" cancer causing substance that was intended to help nourish and grow a calf, but causes cancerous cells to grow in human beings not intended to eat dairy products. Also if you still want to eat meat rather than a "vegan" burger, then go find a chain that will feed you a cow that was grass-fed only , and not fed corn or other things on a feed lot that grazing animals aren't intended to eat so as to prevent being poisoned by "e coli" bacteria. Also consider burgers tend to be made from ground meat which is from a number of animals, so therefore if there is one that can cause illness in a human, there is no way to track it down.

While the show does give to rescue groups, this was the first show they specifically promoted "hybrid" crossbreeds, as always being acceptable as docile pets, when many times they have behavior problems, including attacking other animals as well as people. On Friday night just as I was discussing with the judges the Big Cat Rescue's opposition to crossbreeding domestic felines with wild cats, the African Savannah hybrid "Trouble" apparently had trouble so bad that he couldn't be on display at the show. This hybrid looks just like the wild cats that have ended up at Big Cat Rescue (in Florida), including a Savannah called "Diablo", for supposedly unexpected behavior issues when they grew up from being kittens. Others crossbreed-hybrids of course have gotten put down because of "wild" behavior, that of course wasn't the fault of the cat's breeding akin to breeding domestic dogs with wolves. Just as with dogs, undoing three thousand years of domestic breeding doesn't present any advantages for either the endangered wild animals nor the overpopulation of the domestic ones. Anyway both wild and domestic cats end up suffering to create the one rare prize hybrid cat going from a first generation crossbreed to a third or fourth generation-and can result around 50 cats that most likely can't be household pets, that can either end up being destroyed or killed to make coats. Just makes one wonder, why not just save the endangered actual wild cats? But of course there is no money in that! While the main judge told me that he wouldn't allow first generation crossbreeds into this show, its seems apparent that the owner(s) of "Trouble" might have deceived them.(A vet could of looked at this cat and given a report) Well they now should be made responsible for proper care of this hybrid cat along with its unpredictable behavior for the rest of its life, including keeping him contained from possibly causing harm to other people or their pets.

My problem is though on a limited income is that I can often convince these restaurants to charge me somewhat less for ordering just vegan items. Yes at times they still look at you strange when you order a "salad" without dairy dressing, or else say "hold the cheese and mayo" for a veggie sandwich to then tell them what to replace those unhealthy artery clogging animal products with. But now for this they apparently want to charge vegans as me extra for more adding their "special" vegan items, and most likely at an outrageous price. Also being involved with the local vegan society I had the same problem that others did about restaurants:I certainly am not eating period at any place that serves on the menu veal or foe de grau. Anyplace that aren't at least thinking of helping the meat industry be more ethical aren't worth my spending my money at.

I so badly wanted to enter this year, but I ran out of money and the deadline came. One reason was that last year I saw the bra show was that it repeated myths such as "underwire bras causing cancer", when in fact it has to do with a woman's diet. For instance there are women whom wear more extreme things than underwire bras, but don't get breast cancer because they don't eat animal based diets like American and Westerners do, but mainly eat plants. In fact a good fitting underwire bra, just like a proper fitting corset, can help a woman keep her figure in shape. Because I am a vegan, and its scientifically proven to prevent breast and many other kinds of cancers, I wanted to make a vegie-bra and panty set, and use for inspiration a famous model whom did a green vegi swim suit for a PETA event that looked like salad greens. However I plan to incorporate into the design a "rainbow" of anti-cancerous foods, which I will do next year.

One thing I am mentioning to "La Vida En La Vale" is that praise should go to the public library system for presenting hispanic-latino music without the presence of Mexican alcoholic beverage vendors trying to profit from selling their products. I am self-publishing a new book through "create-space" but I reall would like to charge for it to be "downloaded" , but I worry about copyright laws. But also I frankly I also hope that college and university students could now just download textbooks and save educational costs.

Every American should plant trees rather than cut them down for mere decoration, and even use a live tree to plant later as their Christmas tree. What a waste too to let a tree grow to that size as they put up at the mall, only to have it cut down. Living trees that size add more to our oxygen and environment than dead trees. Also America needs to use hemp instead of trees for its paper products.

Where's President Obama regarding National Adoption Day? (and this month?) So far unlike President Bush, Obama hasn't offered any proclaimation or greeted and honored adoptive parents and adoptees at any of the events. Could this be because one of his biggest funders is Planned Parenthood, which profits from abortions it performs rather than adoption? I can imagine for those whom went to Washington D.C being left with only Secretary Sebelius to carry out the honors wasn't the same as having the presence of the U.S president.
