Rhonda, I live just a few blocks from the area you are talking about and under NO circumstances would I walk anywhere at night, especially in the south part of Sacramento. In case you didn't know, there have been several women robbed in the shopping area on the southwest corner of 24th and Florin. Some of these have been small Asian ladies and older women who have been playing bingo at the bingo hall there. Unfortunately we are living in times where robbery and assault is a common activity. This will increase as drug use continues.

It's too bad people can't realize that the economy is in the pits and that Sacramento cannot survive on "bread and circuses". The Obama Socialist government is too far entrenched for us to survive any recovery.

As we are more and more confronted by druggies and other uncivilized people on the street, carrying pepper spray will be an important means of self-defense. The decline of morality in general is resulting in an increase of danger to all of us.

Mr. Schrag casually suggests that a "north American community" might be a good idea to help the US, Mexico and Canada settle our mutual problems. Why didin't he just flat out admit that this is the "North Amiercan Union", an insidious proposal of the "New World Order" folks that would see the end of this country as it has been for all of our lives. The NWO would put an end to US sovereignty and our government entities, including our monetary system. Our money is being devaluated fast enough without reducing it to merge with the currency of Mexico.
