In all honesty, they need to stick to the basics, good food, beer and good music. The music part is probably the hardest to put together, but there really is not a great music scene here. Most of the venues seem way too tight to really accomodate a band and if it does it seems give off that stuffy/pretentious air to it. These places they are proposing fit the the stuffy/pretentious variety. They need to quit trying to make Sacramento a cultural center with stylized bars. Get back to basics...

They should have worked in a mixed song as an encore with Ann, Nancy and Sammy Hagar. The vocals would have been great. That was the 4th time I have seen Heart and to put it frankly they rocked the joint. A mention of Heart's lead guitar player is needed, Craig Bartok, who was on the money great the entire time with some exceptional guitar playing. I have never seen Sammy Hagar. He was equally as good, best couple moments for me was his slide guitar work and hearing Heavy Metal live. This was one of the best pairings of bands I have seem in a really long time. Great Concert.
