Cute story, but as the writer admits, he doesn't know if any of it is true. At all. And, it's a little sad that this would be written in the context of the Occupy movement while people are losing their homes by the hundreds of thousands, or can't afford heatlhcare or are without work, or unable to afford college, among the other ills that confront our country - as the rich get richer, the poor poorer (if even that's possible) and the middle class ceases to exist. I wonder if this author would be quite so "cute" if he were writing about the civil rights or other movements....I wonder if he even thought how what he wrote trivializes serious, life or death, human needs...and I wonder what his "reservations" are about OWS? I wonder if maybe he shouldn't go down to the Occupy Sacramento protest at Chavez Park. Some first-hand "investigation" might be illuminating for him.

The story quoted him saying he is NOT a politician...that's maybe what this city and country needs more of....citizen representatives.
