The ordinance requirement to keep backyard hens 20 feet from adjacent neighbors basically deters people from applying for a license. Residential land parcels are often quite small. Also, a flat fee is a good idea, but the fees smell like taxation and leave would-be urban farmers feeling henpecked.

This is all excellent advice. I would add that trying different dog parks is also a good idea. There are certain parks where dog leaders take ownership of the park, including poop karma, and other parks that attract dog servants and dogs who are both unsocial and in need of etiquette lessons.

Good luck with the new location. Not to be a total glutton, but I hope this location has milkshakes. The one on Power Inn doesn't, and if you're going to eat a cheese skirted burger shouldn't you wash it down with a shake?
