Thank you for the clarifications Rhyena.
Yes. It will. Thank you for pointing that out.
Well then kudos for helping plan the tour with the Sac History Museum.
Thanks for the correction and extra information. I got the list of benefitting charities from your Walk ''n' Rock website which said: "our 2010 Nonprofit Partners: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Sacramento, Inc., Cristo Rey High School, Keaton Raphael Memorial, Okizu, People Reaching Out, River Cats Foundation, Inc. and Wind Youth Services." What are the nine other partners?
Sounds like a great event. Thank you for the information and kudos to the Sac County Historical Society for putting this upcoming tour on!
Well said, Marty. Individual awards and stats are no replacement for a good team. Not even Oscar Robertson's individual statistical brilliance could get his team anywhere. It was only when he got on a good team with Lew Alcindor (aka Kareem Abdul-Jabbar) and others, that he was able to bag a championship.
For now it looks like non-payment of rent, but the issue might be more complicated than that. I received the following reply in an email from Mark Ellis, Managing Partner of Ellis, Coleman, Porier, Lavoie & Steinheimer, which is representing Orr: "Hina’s Tea has been occupying Mr. Orr’s premises without paying rent for years; we believe Hina’s refusal to pay rent was not legally justified and instead was based, in our judgment, upon pretextual excuses so as to unfairly stay in the premises rent free to Mr. Orr’s detriment. In any event, the eviction that is occurring is based upon a valid court order dated 3/26/10 that found that Mr. Orr is legally entitled to re-possession of his premises."
*Update: According to the Hina's Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Sacramento-CA/Hinas-Tea/190422826089), online orders will be accepted through Wednesday.

If it's extended half a mile south by the Sacramento County supervisors, that will enable Little Saigon to reach just south of 65th. But it might make more sense if it went all the way to Florin, because that's where Tết is usually held.
Thank you everyone!
** Update: The press conference from the Office of Privacy Protection will be changed into an educational discussion held in room 1190 inside the Capitol.

Thank you both for pointing out Moller, another "flying car" prototype manufacturer. According to Samson Motorworks' deposit agreement (http://samsonmotorworks.com/deposit.pdf), the refundable deposits on the Switchblade will be put in an account and not touched or used by the company. It will only be used as income for the company when the customer agrees to purchase the completed vehicle kit.
Thank you for letting us know about this Che! I'm working on another article about live music on New Year's Eve and this will definitely be included. Resolution 2010's website is http://www.sacnewyears.com and the event is located at The Elks Building's Grand Ballroom and House Mezannine.
From what Buchla said, it sounded like there is a large international community of eclipse chasers. Since about two thirds of the earth's surface is water, many total eclipses are only visible from the sea, he said. Devoted chasers from all over the world travel into international waters to view them.
The meeting will take place at 8 p.m.
Just to clarify, attendees of GEW events hosted by www.SacGew.com must pay admission. The flyers in images 5-9 are from www.Gewsacramento.org, a different group holding additional free GEW events.
