thanks. The hi-res version clearly show the crowd, it is one of my favorite shots from the day. :) Appreciate the comment.
No, no and no - however, the intended audience really enjoyed themselves. :)
Great job mark
Great job On the photos Steven, you captured the show fantastically. Jealous, I wa stuck in a snow storm and traffic. :(
That's seriously funny. :) Thanks for a smile.
Love it Geoff - just waiting for the multiple picture uploads instead one at a time. YOu guys are doing a great job.
It was taken straight from the companies website - credit is given accordingly now. thank you for pointing it out, she did a fantastic job.
thanks Brian - took that off of google somewhere. My bad. Have a very happy new Year.
I must be honest and say that I was not only surprised but also impressed with Tony Bennett. People have always told me that some artists just ARE who they ARE and I never really understood that until last night. He was not only personable when speaking to him, he was an amazing performer who had class written all over him. It was an honor to spend a few hours with him. Thank you for your comment.
The question was in regard to his music and performance and not to his looks. I have never had that kind of "feeling" for a band or music in general so it is hard to understand. Meeting and watching the wondering people at the concert just opened my eyes and made me think. Don't think me remark ever referenced looks.
You are correct, it was "WHO KILLED Rock & Roll" - thank you for pointing this out.
You are correct, it was "WHO KILLED Rock & Roll". thanks for being on top of it and pointing this out.
OK, correction to the article - I incorrectly identified a song that was not Ricks (show's you how much I listen to his music). Misidentified song was "Working for the Weekend" - it should have been "Who Killed Rock and Roll". THANK YOU to both CLBISH and LIVINGNOZ for pointing that out. This kind of feedback is part of what makes sacramentopress amazing. Thanks again guys.
Livingnoz, I answered you below but now I have another question - have you really seen Rick 50+ times? if so (or even close) I am honestly interested in knowing how it makes you feel inside. After meeting with fans of all three guys that night it seems that many are REALLY devoted and even in awe over them. NO JUDGMENT - this is something I am not accustomed to and would be interested in a little more insight into why or what makes one band so amazing to someone over another band. What makes someone want to see a band/artist that many times. For me, I could see my favorite band 2 or maybe three times but after that I would be done. So for me, it is a concept I just cant grasp. The interview with Elissa (see article) really took me back with just how much of a special moment Davy held in her life - like he helped her through that young girl time of her life. Again, no judgment, just an honest attempt to understand how someone or something can truly touch the life of someone so much that they would see them so many times. THANKS for any insight you may offer.
Livingnoz, I will try to get a playlist this week - asked one of the crew while they were taking down the set and that it what I was told. Will try to get a confirmed answer for you. YRRCREW, will look at the site - i have never been a springfield fan (not for any reason, just was never part of my music list) but would be curious now to see what you guys are putting together. Surprisingly, my conversation with fans really opened my eyes to how all three of these guys really touched people.
Yeah, he had it on his set-list - probably should have worded that better - thanks for the catch. To my surprise he (and Davey and Peter) were really good. Rick sang a lot of popular hits. Thanks agai,
Conversation about: Gladiators take over Thunder Valley
Correction: Dan Severn did not fight this evening as planned due to a death in the family. Chris Sheridan fought Fransier and Sheridan won.
