I don't understand why these new places don't reflect the neighborhood they are built in. ( bespoke, quaint, relaxed, charming, historic, innovative, creative, tolerant (yes I was called a fag by a patron) Why recreate the drab suburbs in midtown, as opposed to brining midtown to midtown? I get it, people descend upon the center of the cities for entertainment, its a natural phenomenon. So why not then present them with something new.
