i agree, leave the flat screens at home... please.
This place is hell and comes with the usual new (sacramento) restaurants stupidities, e.g. flat screens to distract the bad food, a motif that doesn't make sense, a "lounge" on the second floor, orange (fake tan) clientele and servers etc etc. This list goes on and on. (Not that there is anything fundamentally wrong with these) What a missed opportunity, i almost want to shame the owners for, being, well, I don't know... boring, unimaginative. I don't understand why these new places don't reflect the neighborhood they are built in. ( bespoke, quaint, relaxed, charming, historic, innovative, creative, tolerant (yes I was called a fag by a patron) Why recreate the drab suburbs in midtown, as opposed to brining midtown to midtown? I get it, people descend upon the center of the cities for entertainment, its a natural phenomenon. So why not then present them with something new. Agreed, let this one finds its way home to a strip mall in Roseville.
Why would you need to provide the ever so present "Sacramento restaurant flat screen" in a room which will have panoramic views of the city and nearby Sierra Nevada mountains? Or a room which overlooks looks such a dramatic and unique sight as nearly a century old oasis in the basement of such a sacramento landmark? We've had a nice 8 year run with the flat screen in the dining room. I think it’s now time for restaurant & bar owners/chefs to stop distracting us, and start impressing us with their food, ambience and service. I digress.....
yea! 15 Flat screen TVs, sounds new and interesting. Will really bring some character to the neighborhood.
Conversation about: Drewski's combines food truck fare, sports bar
Argh..... How many sports bars can midtown/downtown have????? Be innovative, its not a bad thing.
