Now we can support our local farmers on Saturday and Sunday!! In addition, maybe this market will inspire many to venture to the historic neighborhood of Oak Park and support its efforts to thrive. It sounds like this market is an invitation for all Sacramentans to join. Thanks to the "do gooders" that took this on and are making it happen.

I enjoyed talking to the farmers who brought heirloom tomato plants - there's still time to plant- local strawberries -grown here in sacramento!, fresh sweet peas, and crisp lettuce. All produce is fresh, I mean local FRESH. I also indulged in Old Soul coffee - freshly brewed- while listening to free entertainment from local band Boulevard Park. Bring an umbrella and some water, shade is needed. Family friendly.
